Zora Alberta Beede

Zora Alberta Beede, born on August 21, 1938, gracefully departed from this earthly life on January 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her home.

A cherished mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, Zora left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. At the age of 85, she transitioned into eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy defined by love, perseverance, and courage.

Zora was a beacon of strength for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her warmth and love radiated through her extraordinary culinary skills, nurturing spirit, and ability to inspire others to embrace life fully. Her dedication to family, creative flair, love for flowers, and meticulous event planning will forever be remembered.

She is reunited in the afterlife with her late husband, Fletcher Beede, as well as her parents, Lillie and Elbert Copeland, sister Geraldine Summers, brothers Bobby, Richard, Cletus, and Roger Copeland, and great-granddaughter Bailey Youngblood.

Zora is survived by her daughter, Regina Beede; her son James Beede and his wife, Carol; her five grandchildren: Jamie Hudgins-Grayson, Joni Ismael, Alicia Beede, Bryan Renfroe, and Brooke Renfroe; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Willis and Carolyn (Dale) Hughes; and brother, Phillip (Sherry) Copeland.

As she rests in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, free from pain, we bid farewell with the assurance that this is not goodbye, but a 'till we meet again.'

May Zora's love continue to echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind, offering comfort and inspiration. Her Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel, located at 231 E. Commercial St., Broken Arrow, OK 74012, with Pastor Tom Tidwell officiating.
