Yvonne "Vonnie" Marie Jackson

Yvonne Marie Jackson, also known as “Vonnie”, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Franciscan Villa Senior Living in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 82.  Vonnie was born on February 1, 1940 in White Earth, Minnesota to Frederick and Fanny (McDonald) St. Clair.  She married the love of her life, Bobby J. Jackson Sr. on December 30, 1978 in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Vonnie worked at Molded Products, Inc. as a trimmer for 15 years until she retired.  She enjoyed shopping, playing with her dog Dottie, and she had a love for cinnamon rolls.  Vonnie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Vonnie is survived by her daughter, Punky Todd and her companion Avery Burgess of Coweta, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Stephanie “Pooh” Todd and her spouse Coy Martin of Coweta, Oklahoma, Stevie Todd II and his wife Chelsea Todd of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Jami Joe Bible and her husband Mark Bible II of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six great grandchildren, Jagger Todd, Besseme “Presley” Standifird, Hendrix Todd, Anya Holt-Bible, James Bible, and Cali Bible; one sister, Beverly Johnson of Waubun, Minnesota; one brother, Melvin St. Clair of St. Paul, Minnesota; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Vonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby J. Jackson Sr., her parents, Frederick and Fanny St. Clair, her daughter, MaryAnn Holt, three sisters, Bernice DeGroat, Mary Jane St. Clair, and Josephine St. Clair, four brothers, Gordon St. Clair, Henry St. Clair, Eldred St. Clair, and Frederick St. Clair, and one half-brother, Harvey Roy.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Services celebrating Vonnie’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.  Vonnie will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be Mark Bible II, Stevie Todd II, Jagger Todd, and Steve Todd.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Avery Burgess.
