William David "Dave" Puckett

William David "Dave" Puckett, age 69, resident of Coweta passed away on Tuesday morning, December 19, 2017 at St. John Hospital in Broken Arrow, OK. Dave was born on March 18, 1948 in Tulsa, OK to Curtis and Agnes (Treat) Puckett. He was a graduate of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa. Dave was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam. He married the love of his life, Janet Lynn Turcott on March 16, 1979. Dave worked at Ford Glass Plant in Broken Arrow as a Glass Handler for many years until he retired. He was an avid fisherman. He always fished at Paradise Cove Marina at Lake Ft. Gibson. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and mowing the lawn. Dave was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters. Dave is lovingly survived by his wife of 38 years, Jan Puckett of home in Coweta, OK; 2 sons, Craig Puckett of Broken Arrow, OK and Curt Puckett and wife, Maeghan of Tulsa, OK; 1 brother, Bob Puckett of Owasso, OK; 1 niece, Sonya; 1 nephew, Bobby Jr.; friend, Richard Biby; and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating Dave's life will be at 10 AM on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
