Willard Thomas Rampey, age 76, of Broken Arrow departed this life on Saturday morning, April 18, 2009 at SouthCrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He was born on June 24, 1932 in Coweta, OK to William Horace and Ida Belle (Pulliam) Rampey. Willard was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather to his family. He attended Webster High School and graduated in 1950. Willard and Patsy Wood were united in marriage on April 2, 1950 in Coweta, OK. He worked in aerospace as a machinist for 40 years and retired from Rockwell International on April 2, 1993. Willard was a member of the Church of Christ in Coweta. His hobbies included bowling, gardening, and he enjoyed his family. Willard was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Rowland Rampey, one nephew, and one great niece. Willard is lovingly survived by his wife, Patsy of the home; five daughters, Pamela Blair and her husband, Tim, of Broken Arrow, Linda Schwab and her husband, Jack, of Broken Arrow, Priscilla Rampey of Broken Arrow, Suzanne Dolash and her husband, Dale, of Holden, MO, and Debbie Gonzalez and her husband, Jim, of Broken Arrow; one brother, Clifford Rampey and his wife, Joella, of Skiatook; 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Church of Christ in Coweta with Judge Morris officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery.
