Willard Earl Bull, 80, of Coweta, OK, (formerly of Bartlesville and Ponca City) passed away peacefully on March 9, 2024 from the progressive effects of vascular dementia. He was born on August 20, 1943, in Enid, Oklahoma. Willard, known for his loving and friendly nature, had a passion for travel, storytelling, and genealogy. He was quiet, smart, and witty.
He graduated from Oklahoma State Tech - Okmulgee in 1965. Willard served in the US Army Reserves for 5 years. Willard spent 30 years of his life as a Draftsman at Phillips Petroleum Company including 4 years as the Materials Acquisitions Manager in Tananger, Norway for the Ekofisk offshore drilling rig in the North Sea.
In his free time, Willard enjoyed traveling, playing cards, researching ancestry, telling stories, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his son-in-law: Dennis Burr; sons: Ron Bull (Meriam) and Tracy Bull (Shannon); grandchildren: Amanda Arp, Matt Burr, Eddie Lutsko, Amy Burr, Austin Bull, Emily McDaneld, Tyler Bull, Katie NieMiera, Cameron Bull, and Aiden Bull; many great-grandchildren; brother: Charles Bull (Marilyn); sister-in-law: Lavina Bull; and many nieces and nephews along with lifelong friends: Carl & Shirley Zahn and Bob Reynolds.
Willard was preceded in death by his wife: Linda Bull; daughters: Lora Rogers and Tamra Burr; father: Lloyd Albert Bull; mother: Rosa Mae Bull; and brothers: Robert, Kenneth, and John Bull.
The family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma from 4-5 pm on Sunday, March 17, followed by a Celebration of Life. The family will gather at the cemetery the following day at 11am for the internment.
