Will Irvin Morgan, age 81, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday morning, July 29, 2022 at his home in Coweta, Oklahoma surrounded by his family. He was a fighter and long-time cancer survivor. Will was born on October 23, 1940 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Bill and Goldie (Lewallen) Morgan. He attended Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Will married the love of his life, Linda Sharon Turney on November 15, 1969 in McAlester, Oklahoma. He was a truck driver for ABF Freight Lines for 22 years until he retired in 2004. Will was also a school bus driver for Broken Arrow Public Schools for 10 years. He was a member of Life.Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Will loved his 1969 El Camino and enjoyed going to car shows. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Will is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Sharon Morgan of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; his sons, David Morgan and wife Mindy of Coweta, Oklahoma, John Morgan and wife Andrea of Coweta, Oklahoma, Danny Morgan of Talala, Oklahoma, and Darren Morgan and wife Kelli of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his brothers, Billy Morgan of Hugo, Oklahoma and Ricky Morgan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Corbin Morgan, Cody Morgan and wife Ashley, Justin Morgan, and Lacy Morgan; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Will was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Goldie Morgan and his brothers, John Jerry Morgan and Benny Morgan.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Graveside services celebrating Will’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Pierce Cemetery in Pierce, Oklahoma.
