Wendall Eldon Hutson

Wendall Eldon Hutson, age 76, longtime Coweta resident went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday morning, October 1, 2019 at his home in Coweta, OK surrounded by his family. Wendall was born on February 11, 1943 in Tulia, TX and was the son of Everett and Cora (Hooper) Hutson. He was a 1961 graduate of Coweta High School. Wendall met the love of his life, Carolyn Sue (Walkup) Hutson at church, and they were united in marriage on May 3, 1963 in Coweta, OK. He owned and operated United Concrete where he was a concrete finisher and a home builder. He was a member of Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK. He was an avid gardener and landscaper. He loved spending time with his grandkids. Wendall will be missed beyond measure by his family and friends, but not forgotten. Wendall is survived by his wife, Sue Hutson of the home in Coweta, OK; three children, Eldon Hutson and wife Jennifer of Coweta, OK, Randall Hutson and wife Debbie of Coweta, OK, and Jannette McCormick and husband Gary of Coweta, OK; two brothers, Randall Hutson and wife Virginia of Carlsbad, CA and John Hutson and wife Marcy of Coweta, OK; two sisters, Jeanne McCrary of Inola, OK and Darlene Hutson-Chavez of Grand Prairie, TX; five grandsons, Aaron Hutson and wife Aspen, Austin Hutson, Alex Hutson, Joshua McCormick, and Jacob McCormick; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wendall was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Cora Hutson; five brothers, Leldon Hutson, Jimmy Dee Hutson, Royce Hutson, Dwain Hutson, and Van Hutson; and one sister, Coralyn Powers. A graveside service celebrating Wendall's life will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday October 4, 2019 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK with Pastor Steve Lee officiating. Viewing will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home. Family and friends may share memories online at www.brownfamilycares.com.
