Welda Mae (Williams) Harris, 91 of Paris, Arkansas peacefully went home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2018 in Broken Arrow, OK. She was born in New Blaine, Arkansas on September 25, 1926 to the late Henry Williams and Dora (Boyd) Williams. She married her love, E.C. Harris Jr., on December 24, 1946. They were married until he passed away in 2014. Welda was active in her community of Paris in many ways, some of which included; owning "Ye Ol' Curiosity Shop", working at the Koret for many years, a member of T.T.T. Society of Paris, and being a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Paris. Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32- "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ." Her home and her table were always open and full of love. Both were a welcome sanctuary for all who knew her. Welda was one of six children; Juanema (Williams) Keys, Orville Williams, and Garland "Red" Williams. She was survived by her three children Karen (Harris) Dial, Gary Harris, and Craig Harris; daughters-in-law Janet and Lynn Harris, and son-in-law Richard Dial; her grandchildren Khris Bryan, wife Angela, Brandon Harris, Jessica (Harris)
Slovensky, husband Michael, and Natalee Harris; as well as great-grandchildren; Ashli, Garett, Zander, Jase, Eli and Elana; many more loving nieces, nephews, friends, and her loving caregiver Marilyn. All of whom looked to her for support in life and love and everything in between. Her legacy will live on with all who knew her, for her influence and grace cannot be erased.
