Wayne Sander

Wayne Sander, 76, went to be with Jesus, September 20, 2016. He was born March 31, 1940 in Evansville, IN.
America Legion, Grube-Hunter post 110 in Broken Arrow from 1995 to 2004. He worked for Sears & Roebuck starting in 1963 and worked for them in Indiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma. He retired from Sears in 1999. After retirement with Sears, Wayne also worked at the Sam's Club and Home Depot.
He graduated from the Child Evangelism Leadership Training Institute with his wife in 1974 and served with her as the Child Evangelism Fellowship Director in Vincennes, IN. In 1978 he became the state Child Evangelism Fellowship Director for New Mexico. He became a resident of Broken Arrow in 1992. He served as a Deacon at Faith Baptist Church in Broken Arrow. Wayne was proceeded in death by his parents Edward and Julianna Schweikart Sander and two brothers, Tarrance and Adrian. He is survived by his wife, Linda of 55 years, a brother Kenneth Sander of Fredericksburg, MD, two children: a son Stanley Sander and wife Becky of Edgewood, NM and a daughter Kathy Sander Schale of Wichita, KS and eight grandchildren; Josiah, Andrea, Kaylee, Ruth, and Isaac all of Wichita, KS: Craig and Ty of Edgewood, NM; Evan ands wife Rachel of Madura, Indonesia.
