Wanda Lou Warren

Wanda Lou Warren, age 78, of Oktaha, Okla. passed away on Friday evening, March 27, 2015 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Okla. She was born on November 16, 1936 to Logan Edward and Lucille Idella (Clifton) Rice in Claremore, Okla. Wanda was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt and cousin to her family. She received her education in Coweta Public Schools. Wanda and Gerald Dee Warren were united in marriage on March 24, 1950 in Coweta, Okla. and they moved to Oktaha, Okla. in 1956. Gerald preceded her in death on April 13, 2010. Wanda worked at Humpty Dumpty in Muskogee, Okla. for several years until she retired. She was also a homemaker who loved caring for her family. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dee Warren, her daughter, Wanda Jean Warren, her grandparents and a special sister-in-law. Wanda is survived by 3 brothers, Howard Valk of Calif., Don Valk of Tex. and Bill Valk of Tex.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Vance and Ida Warren of Coweta, Okla.; a special niece whom she loved dearly, Terri Adair of Coweta, Okla.; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. A graveside service for Wanda will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Okla.
