Wanda Lee Moore, age 93, resident of Broken Arrow passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at her home in Broken Arrow, OK. Wanda was born on January 12, 1926 in Peggs, OK and was the daughter of Phillip James and Essie Mae (Stephens) Butler. She married the love of her life, Charles Clarence Moore on November 16, 1942 in Coweta, OK and he preceded her in death on July 12, 1981. Wanda worked at Gatesway Foundation as a cook for many years until she retired. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, and carpentry work. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Marcy Buchanan of Broken Arrow, OK; one brother, Udell Butler of Sapulpa, OK; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one aunt, Viola of Vinita, OK; and other relatives and friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clarence Moore; her parents, Phillip James and Essie Mae Butler; two sons, Clarence Lee Moore and Michael James Moore; and three sisters, Evelyn Brown, Roberta Sanborn, and Marjie Graham. Viewing will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Wanda's life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
