Waer James Sparks

August 13, 2011 Walter James Sparks, Sr., age 91 years, 8 months and 7 days, entered eternal life April 1, 2009 at his home in Broken Arrow, OK. He was born July 25, 1917 in Doole, TX to James Kalloup and Callie Caroline (Stewart) Sparks. He was longtime rancher and member of First Baptist Church in Catoosa, OK who enjoyed deer hunting, horses, his mission work in Mexico, sheep dogs and was a Dallas Cowboy fan. In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his first wife Beulah and second wife Bessie; 2 brothers and 2 sisters; daughter Callie Herring and son-in-law Bill; son J.W. Sparks; grandchildren:
Jessica Ann Ross and Stacy Sparks. Walter is survived by his loving daughter Ora Mae Ross and son-in-law Jesse of Broken Arrow; step-daughter Margie Hilbert and son-in-law Carl of Claremore, OK and their daughters; grandchildren: Randy Sparks, Carol Wehrheim, Cara Jan Vasquez, Warren Ross and Kammie Packard; brother Theo Sparks;
