Wade Withers

Wade Withers, age 51, longtime resident of Coweta departed this life on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at his residence. He was born on January 3, 1959 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Harry and Velda (Snelson) Withers. Wade was a loving husband, father, and son to his family and a close friend to many. He attended school in Coweta and graduated from Coweta High School in 1977. Wade and Tammy Dill were united in marriage on September 25, 1981 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He owned and operated Wade Withers Painting for 29 years. Wade was a member at the New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Coweta. His hobbies included hunting, noodling, cattle, antique tractors, being outdoors and he enjoyed his dogs. Wade will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Wade is lovingly survived by his wife of 28 years, Tammy of the home; his three sons, Joshua Withers, Jeffrey Withers, and Jeremy Withers, all of the home; his parents, Harry and Velda Withers of Coweta; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Wade was preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Withers. Funeral services for Wade will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 5, 2010 at New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Coweta with Pastor Wilburn Clark officiating.
