Wade Ventice Carriger, age 74, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to his Heavenly Home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 28, 2022 at his home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Wade was born on February 28, 1947 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Otho Jack and Rose Maxine (Wade) Carriger. Wade was a 1965 graduate of Sapulpa High School and then attended Oklahoma State University. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Wade married the love of his life, Linda Allen on March 23, 1968 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was a Navy Electronic Technician for 11 ½ years and he owned and operated a computer shop where he built and repaired computers for many years until he retired in 2016. He enjoyed going to OSU games and working on computers.
Wade is survived by his wife, Linda Carriger of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; his daughters, Jennifer Downing and her husband Eric of Skiatook, Oklahoma and Crystal Carriger of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; his brother, Jack Otho Carriger and his wife Norma of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; his granddaughter, Sylvia Rose Sletten and her husband Garrett; his great granddaughter, Harper Kennedy Sletten; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Otho Jack and Rose Maxine Carriger, his brother, Gary, and his sisters, Rose and Catherine.
A memorial service celebrating Wade’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma.
