Virginia Faye Martin

Virginia "Faye" Martin of Bethany, OK, was born on October 4, 1929 and passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at her home in Bethany, OK at the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of the late Homer and Bertha Howard. Faye was a homemaker for most of her life. She spent the last 21 years living in Bethany, OK and was a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. Faye is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Clifford Martin; four children, Elaine Martin Brummett of Bethany, OK, Jimmy Martin and wife, Frances, of Rio Rancho, NM, Donna Martin Secor and husband, Fred, of Yukon, OK and Bobby Martin and wife, Jan, of Bethany, OK; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Howard and Jimmie Howard of Coweta, OK; one sister, Ella Flesher and husband, Joe, of Marietta, GA; one sister-in-law, Billie Marie Howard of Tulsa, OK and a host of nieces and nephews. Her parents, two brothers, Walter Howard and Gene Howard, three sisters, Georgia Bell, Rosie Garrison and Hazel Overall and her beloved pet, Sunny Beau, preceded her in death. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, October 1, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services for Faye are scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Terry Toler officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Tyler Martin, Earl Lee Howard, Steven Howard, Clifford Everett Martin, Scott Secor and Darrell Evans.
