Violet Marie Pearson

Violet Marie Pearson, age 86, lifelong Coweta resident went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday morning, March 30, 2020 at The Linden in Tulsa, OK. Violet was born April 14, 1933 in Wagoner County, OK and was the daughter of George Dewey "Dude" and Hester (Cobb) Replogle. She attended Coweta Public Schools. Violet met the love of her life, Charley D. "CD" Pearson and they were married on Halloween eve, October 31, 1950 at the Church of God Prophecy Parsonage in Coweta, OK. Violet was a devoted homemaker and worked for Coweta Public Schools Cafeteria for 20 years where she retired as the Assistant Manager. She was a member of the Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta. Violet enjoyed embroidery work, going to Branson, babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Violet is survived by her children, Carol Young and husband Ronnie of Coweta, OK, Darrel Pearson and wife Sherryl of Claremore, OK, Kay Hughes and husband Brent of The Woodlands, TX, and Danny Pearson of Coweta, OK; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; her sister, Faye Runnels and husband John of Coweta, OK; her brother, Russell Replogle and wife Dolly of Broken Arrow, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Charley D. "CD" Pearson; her parents, George Dewey "Dude" and Hester Replogle; 6 siblings, Velma Hash, Dorothy Hash, Pauline Edwards, Truman "Chike" Replogle, Walter Curlee Replogle, and Robert "Shorty" Replogle; and one great grandson. Services for Violet will be held at a later date to be determined. Violet was laid to rest next to her husband, CD Pearson at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK.
