Mrs. Vicky C. Davis, beloved mother and wife, of Stone Bluff, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Muskogee Regional Medical Center at the age of 66, following a 24 year struggle with Huntington's Disease. Vicky was born Victoria Charlene Cummings in Walnut Shade, Missouri on July 9, 1944 and was the daughter of Captain Vince Cummings and Clara Mable Tinker. She graduated from Branson High School in 1962 and then went on to attend Draughans Business School in Springfield, Missouri. Vicky married Lyle E. Davis of Branson on March 22, 1964. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Her home for the past 33 years was at Stone Bluff, Oklahoma. Vicky was an active member of the Church of Christ as long as her health permitted. She spent many years busing children from Tulsa's north side to church and vacation bible school and approximately 10 years busing golden agers from nursing homes to church. Additionally, she hosted many annual Country Picnics at her home in Stone Bluff, Oklahoma for the golden agers. She is known by all her relatives and acquaintances as energetic, caring, industrious, loving and gracious. Vicky is survived by her husband, Lyle Davis of Stone Bluff, Oklahoma; one son, Monte L. Davis and wife, Chereece, of Katy, Texas; three daughters, Shelley L. Lopez and husband, Rique, of Bristow, Oklahoma, Molly L. Heffner of Stone Bluff, Oklahoma and Amera L. Davis of Stone Bluff, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; one brother, Francis J. Cummings of Walnut Shade, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Vicky will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 1, 2010 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Henry Petree, Minister of the Haskell Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, Oklahoma.
