V. Jane Young

V. Jane Young, age 85, lifelong Coweta resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday evening, October 31, 2017 at Wagoner Care Center in Wagoner, OK. Jane was born on February 7, 1932 to Hershel and Sylvia Dee Irine (Smith) Burt in Coweta, OK. She married the love of her life, Robert Sterling Young on June 19, 1948 in Coweta, OK. Jane worked at Seismograph Service Corporation as a Machinist until she retired in the mid-1980's. She enjoyed planting flowers, bowling, sitting in her swing and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Young in 2008, her parents, Hershel and Sylvia Dee Irine Burt, 6 brothers and sisters, 1 great grandson, Jarek Fisher and 1 son-in-law, Ron Fisher. Jane is survived by 3 children, Ronnie Young and wife, Carol of Coweta, OK, Stanley Young and wife, Judy of Tahlequah, OK and Jaletta Fisher of Coweta, OK; 1 sister, Ruby Mitchell of Inola, OK; 1 brother, Everet Burt of Miami, OK; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing for Jane will be from 9-10 AM at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home and graveside services following at 11 AM on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK with Pastor James Stone, Jr. officiating.
