Tyler James Rodgers, age 18, of Talala passed away after a tragic accident on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in Talala, OK. He was born on October 6, 1996 in Tulsa, OK to Jason and Sarah (Maples) Rodgers. Tyler was a 2015 graduate of Oologah High School. He enjoyed working out at the gym, playing tennis, riding motorcycles and he loved spending time with his friends. Tyler is survived by his father and step-mother, Jason Rodgers and wife, Angie, of Talala, OK; his mother and step-father, Sarah Farbro and husband, Ernie, of Talala, OK; 3 brothers, Austin Rodgers, Bodey Farbro and Jeremiah Rodgers, all of Talala, OK; his maternal grandparents, Dee and Carol Wilson, Ron Maples, Ernie and Jan Farbro and Cookie Perea; his paternal grandparents, Carl and Sandra Rodgers, Don and Patsy Edwards, Paul Gingras and Bob and Denise Grattonfisher; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the funeral home. Services celebrating Tyler's life will be at 1 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Oologah Assembly of God in Oologah, OK with Pastor Donald Hogue and Pastor Kent Jensen officiating. Burial will follow in Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, OK. Pallbearers are Austin Rodgers, Aaron Rodgers, Greg Rodgers, Matt Rodgers, Kevin Lewis, Taylor Jackson, Matt Williams, Tyler Moore and Jesse Bartleson. Honorary Pallbearers are Jeremiah Rodgers, Bodey Farbro, Brett Wilson and Jon Gatty.
