Tonya Lynn Mills

Tonya Lynn Mills, age 50, of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 7, 2017 in Broken Arrow, OK. Tonya was born on February 10, 1967 to Jimmy Lee and Nellie Mae (Kilgore) Arnold in Tulsa, OK. She was a 1986 graduate of Coweta High School. Tonya married the love of her life, Rodney Dale Mills on September 23, 1995. She was a custodian at Northwest Elementary in Coweta for 11 years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, taking care of animals, going to the zoo, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Tonya was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Mae Arnold and her aunt, Loretta Stevens. Tonya is survived by her husband, Rodney Mills of the home in Coweta, OK; 2 daughters, Tandra Moss of Coweta, OK and Maggie Mills of Coweta, OK; her father, Jimmy Arnold of Coweta, OK; 1 brother, Timothy Arnold and wife, Donna of Tahlequah, OK; 5 nephews; 8 nieces; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. Viewing will be from 10 AM - 8 PM on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Tonya's life will be at 10 AM on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK with Jeff Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are JB Arnold, BO Arnold, Chris Essary, Jerry "Mouse" Baucom, Durrell Kilgore and Dubbie Arnold.
