Tommy Oler

August 12, 2011 Tommy "Dick" Oliver of Inola, 88, entered eternal life June 16, 2010 at his home. He was born May 30, 1922 in Checotah to Birl W. and Florence S. (Fonderon) Oliver. Dick married Hattie January 24, 1947 in Ft. Smith, AR. She preceded him in death. A longtime mechanic, he was a member of the V.F.W. and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and trapping. Dick could fix anything. Dick is survived by his loving daughters: Artie Oliver and Sandra Chasteen, both of Inola; stepson Larry Piguet of Owasso; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
