Tommy Dean Bowers, Coweta resident, left this world on Sunday, January 14th, 2024, at the age of 62, at his home in Coweta, Oklahoma. He was born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, on August 29th, 1961, one of six children to Martha Pearlie (Guss) Bowers and David Lloyd Bowers. Despite his health challenges throughout life, Tommy lived a life filled with kindness, passion for art and music, and love for his family, especially his mother.

A proud graduate of Coweta High School, Class of 1979, Tommy dedicated himself to a career of serving his country in the Navy shortly after graduation. After being discharged from the military, he returned to his hometown of Coweta. He loved dancing, music, art and embracing the zest of life. His artistic soul shined through in his talent for drawing, leaving behind many beautiful drawings.

Tommy was predeceased by his father, David Lloyd Bowers, and sister, Carol Jean Foster. He leaves behind his dear mother Pearlie Bowers, who passed two days after him, his brothers, David Leon, Douglas, and Joe Bowers with his wife Jeanie, his sister Patricia Flores, and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory. Tommy was always willing to selflessly help others and his kind spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Tommy’s family is respecting his wishes to be cremated without services.
