Tommy Dean Baucom of Wagoner passed away on Wednesday evening, May 23, 2007 at his home. He was 75 years old. Tommy was born on September 5, 1931 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Tilford and Letha A. (Clayborne) Baucom. He received his education in the Redbarn and Sunnyside Schools in Wagoner County. Tommy was employed as a farm worker for most of his life. His hobbies included fishing, horseshoes, and playing dominoes and cards. Survivors include two brothers, J.T. Baucom and his wife, Louise, of Porter and Marvin Baucom and his wife, Kelly, of Coweta; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Eldon, Melvin, Hoil, Harold, and Alfred Baucom, and one sister, Betty Kerr. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta with Reverend Paul Holmes of Ponca City, Oklahoma officiating. Committal will follow.
