Timothy Dean "Tim" Read

Timothy Dean "Tim" Read, age 65, resident of Coweta passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Tim was born on May 1, 1953 in Port Hueneme, CA and was the son of Tony and Mary (Roebuck) Read. He was a graduate of Bixby High School. Tim married the love of his life, Datha Lynn (Frazier) Read on April 11, 1975 in Tulsa, OK. They were married for 41 years and together for 43 years. He was a Union Electrician for 40 years. Tim loved spending time outdoors in nature, fast cars and spoiling his grandkids. His kind heart and gentle nature was felt by everyone he met. Tim and his son, Nick loved to have fun, go fast and were fearless which will live on through his grandkids. Tim will be truly missed by all of his family and friends. Tim is survived by his wife, Datha Read of the home in Coweta, OK; his father, Tony Read of Coweta, OK; his mother, Mary (Roebuck) Read of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 daughter, Leslie Helton and husband, Cole of Coweta, OK; 4 grandchildren, Ivy Mae Read, Bryson Baucom, Maddox Read and Grace Helton; 1 brother, Victor Read and wife, Mary Ann of Chandler, OK; 1 sister, Susie Braumiller and husband, Allen of Broken Arrow, OK; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Brian "Nick" Read. Tim's Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Coweta, OK.
