Thelma 'Lucille' Wolfe

Thelma "Lucille" Wolfe, age 94, resident of Coweta passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, September 20, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, OK. Lucille was born on May 25, 1920 in Hammond, MO to Arlie Ross and Sarah Lela (Hale) Hash. She and Albert M. Wolfe were married on November 20, 1934 in Long Run, MO and he preceded her in death in 1971. Lucille was a homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family always cherishing their times together. She was a member of Thomas Community Church in Broken Arrow. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 6 brothers, 6 sisters, 1 daughter, 1 grandchild, 1 great grandchild and 2 son-in-laws. Lucille is survived by 6 children, Jesse Wolfe and wife, Janie, of Broken Arrow, OK, Howard Wolfe and wife, Jeanie, of Catoosa, OK, Bonnie Hagewood and husband, Jim, of Long Run, MO, Betty Chalakee and husband, Joe, of Coweta, OK, Bud Wolfe and wife, Karen, of Wagoner, OK and Debbie Falcon of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 sister, Janell Kirkland of Coweta, OK; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 39 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home with the family greeting friends from 6 PM - 8 PM. Funeral services celebrating the life of Lucille will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Pastor James Stone, Jr. officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Tim Wolfe, Randy Wolfe, Stephen Wolfe, Bobby Sisney, Buddy Bowers, J.R. Gibson, Michael Morrow and Brian Hicks. Honorary Pallbearers are B.J. Sisney, Michael Sisney II, Tony Wolfe, Jim Hagewood, Don Nichols, Bobby Carner and Joe Chalakee.
