Teresa Morgan

Teresa Morgan, age 85, resident of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 9, 2018 at her home in Coweta, OK. She was born on February 12, 1933 in Oakland, CA to Arthur and Amanda (Sibrian) Johns. Teresa married the love of her life, Robert C. Morgan on November 1, 1951 in Reno, NV. They were married for 53 years before Robert passed away on December 3, 2004. She was a hairdresser and a stay at home mom. Teresa enjoyed crocheting, creating craft items and bowling. She also enjoyed baking for other people. She loved spending time and taking care of her family. Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Morgan, her parents, Arthur and Amanda Johns and 2 sisters, Bette Metzler and Ruth Anderson. Teresa is survived by 3 daughters, Linda Cohen and husband, Mark of Broken Arrow, OK, Terri White and husband, Dale of Tulsa, OK and Valerie Verhaalen and husband, Eddie of Belton, MO; 1 son, Doug Morgan and wife, Ann of Sand Springs, OK; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 1 brother-in-law, Vurnell Morgan of Broken Arrow, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating Teresa's life will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Keith Fallis officiating.
