A celebration of life for Tamara "Tami" Jean Burney, age 47, of Tulsa will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2011 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK. Rev. David Jones will officiate the service with burial following at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Family and friends may send condolences to the family online at www.wrightfh.net. Services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Coweta. Tami was born on November 7, 1963 in Borger, TX to Vernon T. Burney and Zona Gail Funderburk. She left this earth on Tuesday evening, April 12, 2011, too soon in Tulsa, OK. Tami is survived by her father, Vernon Burney and "other mother", Homerlene Burney; her mother, Zona Gail Rodgers; her sisters, Joan Burney Collett, Tina Burney Meyer and her husband, David, Cheryl Bergwell and her husband, John, Tammie Mossien and her husband, Joe, and Kallene Ridley and her husband, Kevin; her beloved nieces, Rose, Kallene, Andrea and her husband, Caleb, Kary Beth and her husband, Robert, Kendra, Sarah and her husband, Steve, Mary, and Hannah; her nephews, Kory, Jeffrey, James, Joshua, and Raiden; many aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews, and of course her cherished cats. Pallbearers are David Meyer, Christopher Pound, Steve Smith, Rick D. Westcott, Bruce Howard, and Kevin Ridley. VIEWING WILL BE ON SATURDAY, APRIL 16, 2011 FROM 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM AND ON SUNDAY, APRIL 17, 2011 FROM 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
