Susan Lynn Davis-Kilgore, age 58, resident of Coweta, OK, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was born on June 27, 1966, in Cass County, Belton, MO. Susan was the cherished daughter of Ralph Lowell Davis Sr. and Janice Faye (Gillette) Davis. Her life was a testament to her dedication, love, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Susan's journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family and her career. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend. Susan is survived by her siblings: two brothers, Ralph Avery Davis Jr. and his wife Gwen Davis of Beaver Dam, KY and Edward Lowell Davis and his wife Sandra Lee Davis of Coweta, OK, and one sister, Lydia Irene Davis of Beaver Dam, KY. She was a doting aunt to 11 nieces and nephews and a grand-aunt to 19 great-nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her deeply. Susan was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Dean Kilgore, and her parents, Ralph Lowell Davis Sr. and Janice Faye Davis.

Professionally, Susan was a respected member of Schreiber Foods, Inc., where she dedicated over two decades of service. She retired in 2013, having made significant contributions as a Quality Control Coordinator and HR Payroll Specialist. Her colleagues remember her as a meticulous and compassionate professional who was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure excellence and support her team.

Susan's life was enriched by her many interests and the love she shared with her husband, Ronald Dean Kilgore, whom she married on September 4, 1992, in Independence, MO. Together, they created countless memories filled with love and laughter. Susan's hobbies and passions brought joy not only to her life but also to those around her. She was known for her warm smile, her generous spirit, and her ability to make every moment count.

Susan's legacy is one of love, dedication, and the enduring bonds of family. Her absence will be felt deeply by all who knew her, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those she has left behind.

Visitation for Susan will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, OK. A graveside service to honor and celebrate her life will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Lee's Summit Historical Cemetery in Lee's Summit, MO.
