Stuart Kent Carpenter

Stuart Kent Carpenter, age 70, resident of Coweta departed this life Thursday morning, May 7, 2020 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK.  Stuart was born June 23, 1949 in Tulsa, OK and was the son of Rex Lee Carpenter and Patsy Ann (Grider) Mitchell.  Stuart graduated from Barnsdall High School in 1967 and then went on to Northeastern State University to further his education.  He married the love of his life, Doris Gail Booton in 1974.  Stuart was a veteran of the National Guard.  He was a Security Officer for 44 years at St. John Medical Center where he retired from.  Stuart loved spending time with his family and will greatly be missed.

Stuart is survived by his wife, Doris Gail Carpenter of the home in Coweta, OK; his children, John Carpenter and Traci Ratcliff; his mother, Patsy Ann Mitchell of Barnsdall, OK; his brother, Jeffrey Carpenter and wife Juanita of Alluwe, OK; his sister, Tammy Hedgecoth and husband Buster of Barnsdall, OK; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Stuart was preceded in death by his father, Rex Lee Carpenter and his brother, Timothy Carpenter.
