April 4, 2012 Steven Paul Twist passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 in his Broken Arrow, Oklahoma home. Born to Sandra Twist and Wendell Twist on January 26, 1965, Steve is also survived by daughter Caitlin Avery, sisters Kellie Driskell, Wendi Twist, and Lauren Twist, as well as a multitude of other loving relatives. Steve was a devoted son, brother, father, and a particularly adoring uncle to his niece, Courtney Driskell, and his nephews, Dallas Driskell and Blake Twist. Throughout his life, Steve's primary and unending passion was for the University of Oklahoma football program. With a room filled with crimson-and-
cream memorabilia, Steve proved to be one of the Sooners' most die-hard and dedicated fans. Steve graduated from Union High school in 1984, and went on to become quite the expert in all matters related to technology. There was scarcely a computer problem he could not fix with what seemed to be a snap of his fingers. Steve, with his contagious laugh, sometimes mischievous grin, and fun-loving disposition will be mourned, missed, and perhaps most importantly, remembered: here, now, and forever more. We love you, Steven Paul. Boomer Sooner. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 4th at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Catoosa. The family would like to request that those attending wear crimson-and-cream or OU spirit attire, in order to celebrate Steve's life, even as we mourn in his absence.
