Stephen Matthew "Steve" Lee

Stephen Matthew "Steve" Lee, age 56, of Coweta passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at his home in Coweta, OK. Steve was born on December 16, 1960 to John and Wilma (Ewton) Lee in Broken Arrow, OK. He married Kerri Lynn Baker on November 5, 1982 in Miami, OK. Steve worked as a leadman at Wagoner County District 1. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, OU football and little league baseball. Steve was preceded in death by his father, John Lee. Steve is survived by his wife, Kerri Lee of the home in Coweta, OK; his mother, Wilma Wheat of Wagoner, OK; 4 children, Joshua Lee and wife, Justina of Wagoner, OK, Jennifer Lee and Cody Roberton of Coweta, OK, Matthew Lee of Coweta, OK and Melissa Lee of Coweta, OK; 1 sister, Diane Walters of Wagoner, OK; 1 brother, Rick Lee and wife, Charlotte of Coweta, OK; 2 grandchildren, Jacob Lee and Rylie Lee; his dog, Rosie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating Steve's life will be at 1 PM on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta, OK with Pastor Nick Stone and Pastor Larry Duncan officiating.
