Stacie Lynn Shepherd

Stacie Lynn Shepherd, age 53, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Kiefer, OK. Stacie was born on September 3, 1963 to Bill and Loetta "Susie" (Poindexter) Strong in Clinton, OK. She was a graduate of Coweta High School. Stacie was a devoted homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed collecting antiques, fishing and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Stacie was preceded in death by her parents. Stacie is lovingly survived by 3 sons, Bryan Shepherd of Coweta, OK, Blake Shepherd of Broken Arrow, OK and Corey Shepherd of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 daughter, Kristy Shepherd of Tulsa, OK; her companion, Melvin Blackburn of Kiefer, OK; her step-father, Roger Young of Coweta, OK; 2 sisters, Tina Johnson of Elizabethtown, KY and Kathy Scott of Coweta, OK; 3 grandchildren, Kynadi Conway, Kayleb Shepherd and Mia Martinez; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 12-8 PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Stacie's life will be at 11 AM on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK with Pastor Steve Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Blake Shepherd, Corey Shepherd, Mac Poindexter, Chad Runnels, Cody Weygandt and Dakota McDuffie.
