Shirley Kay Renshaw

Shirley Kay Renshaw, age 80, longtime resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her home in Coweta, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.  Shirley was born on March 21, 1941 in Elijah, Missouri to Raymond Ray and Effie (Howard) Hensley.  She attended school in Coweta.  Shirley married the love of her life, Bill E. Renshaw on June 23, 1957 in Coweta, Oklahoma and they had six children.  She cleaned houses for many people throughout the years.  Shirley enjoyed garage saleing, gardening, going on yearly Branson trips, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Bill Renshaw of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; five children, Tammy Davis and her husband George of Seneca, Missouri, Cheryl Renshaw of Coweta, Oklahoma, Brad Renshaw of Coweta, Oklahoma, Robby Renshaw and his wife Sheryl of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Amy Renshaw of Coweta, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one brother, Steve Hensley and his wife Dana of Coweta, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Ray and Effie Hensley; her son, Billy Mark Renshaw; and four sisters, Ella Mae Slife, Faye Allen, Ann Scott, and Lois Meadows.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma with the family present to receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM.  Services celebrating Shirley’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Coweta Assembly in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Doug Hash officiating.  Shirley will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma

Pallbearers are Cody Renshaw, Kyle Renshaw, Ryan Renshaw, Coby Gorman, Connor Gorman, Carson Gorman, and Caulon Gorman.
