Sherri Beard

Sherri Lynn Beard, age 50, of Tulsa, OK, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, September 3, 2013 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Sherri was born on May 21, 1963 in Tulsa, OK and was the daughter of Edward Perry and Cecile (Watts) McDaniel. Sherri was a 1981 graduate of Coweta High School. She worked at DirecTV as a Customer Service Representative for 13 years. Sherri and Theodore "Ted" Beard were united in marriage on October 23, 2011 in Coweta, OK. She enjoyed photography, boating and playing computer games. Sherri will be missed as a loving wife, daughter, sister, step-mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Sherri is survived by her husband, Ted Beard of the home in Tulsa, OK; her mother, Cecile McDaniel of Coweta, OK; her step-son, Cory Coburn of Tulsa, OK; 3 brothers, Robert McDaniel & wife, Connie, of Coweta, OK, Danny McDaniel & wife, Sheri, of Wichita, KS and Mike McDaniel & wife, Teresa, of Haskell, OK; 3 sisters, Cecilia Cates of Coweta, OK, Beverly Sears & husband, Kevin, of Nowata, OK and Sandra Rombach & husband, Tony, of Haskell, OK; 2 grandchildren, Zoey Coburn & Zaden Coburn; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, September 6, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Wright-Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Jones and Cory Coburn officiating.
