Sgt. Harley Wesley Hill, Jr., age 83, resident of Coweta was born on October 5, 1937 in Cedar Vale, Kansas and was the son of Harley Wesley and Lina Ruby (Smith) Hill. Wesley went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday afternoon, January 18, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life, Patsy Lee Pearce on May 27, 1956 in Miami, Oklahoma. Wesley proudly served his country in the Army National Guard and retired after 24 years of service. Wesley worked as a Machinist for Dorset of Joplin, Missouri and later retired after 20 years of employment with FAG Bearings Corporation. He enjoyed working on cars, fixing things, fishing, playing marbles, and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Wesley is survived by his wife of 64 years, Pat Hill of Coweta, Oklahoma; his three children, Brenda Van Hooser and husband Jack of Coweta, Oklahoma, David Hill and wife Danette of Dallas, Georgia, and Donald Hill and wife Lucrecia of Flower Mound, Texas; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and five sisters.
Graveside services with full military honors will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
