Scotty Dean "Scott" Nichols

Scotty Dean (Mellage) Nichols, age 58, resident of Broken Arrow was born on August 18, 1962 in Falls City, Nebraska and was the son of Marvin E. Mellage and Vikki Lynn (Shores) Nichols.  He passed away on Saturday morning, January 2, 2021 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Scott was a graduate from Broken Arrow High School Class of 1980 and he also attended technical college. He married Rheall (Adair) Nichols and they had three children together. He worked for many years in telecommunications.  He owned and operated Communications Supply Company.  Scott enjoyed camping, fishing, being outdoors, muscle cars, racing midget cars, and he loved his dog.

Scott is survived by his three children, Jennah Clark and husband Brody of Broken Arrow, OK, Kydin Nichols of Broken Arrow, OK, and Jacob Nichols of Broken Arrow, OK; his father and stepmother, Marvin and Linda Mellage of Broken Arrow, OK; his mother and stepfather, Vikki and Bob Nichols of Broken Arrow, OK; his sisters, Jennifer (Mellage) Hogan of Broken Arrow, OK, and Lindsey Nicole Nicholes of Broken Arrow, OK; his brother, Matthew Mellage of Broken Arrow, OK; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Services celebrating Scott’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Zach Norris officiating.
