Scot Richard Dilbeck

Scotty Richard Dilbeck, also known as "Scot", resident of Broken Arrow (formerly of Coweta) departed this life on Monday, June 10, 2019 after a tragic car accident in Inola, OK at the age of 48. Scot was born on June 2, 1971 in Jay, OK and was the son of Lawrence and Diana (Stephenson) Baker. He was a 1989 graduate of Jay High School. Scot was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Gulf War. He enlisted in the Navy on October 10, 1990 and was honorably discharged on October 9, 1992. Scot married the love of his life, Rose Mary Stiles on May 26, 2004 in Miami, OK. He worked for Google in Pryor, OK as an Operations Engineer for the past 10 years and previously worked for Koweta Custom Cycles. Scot was a gamer, loved riding motorcycles and enjoyed fireworks. His favorite holiday was Halloween and he enjoyed decorating the outside of his house with lots of decorations. Scot loved to make jokes and make people laugh. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather and loved everyone he met. Scot is survived by his wife of 15 years, Rose Dilbeck; three daughters, Kelli Hefley, Stephanie Holmes and husband Billy and Melissa Oliver and husband Kenneth; his mother and step-father, Diana and Lawrence Baker; three sisters, Kathy Massey and husband David, Elizabeth Baker and Annie Baker; eight grandchildren, Adrienne, Brianna, Mia, Brian, Kenneth, Rylee, Kelyianna and Quinton; his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Stiles and Estella Stiles; his brother-in-law, Michael Stiles; five nieces; five nephews; and other relatives and friends. Scot was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Dilbeck. A memorial service celebrating Scot's life will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Tony Holmes officiating.
