Scarlett Marie Shipley

Scarlett Marie Shipley was born on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. and gained her wings shortly thereafter and is being held in the arms of Jesus. She is the daughter of Checotah Dawn Pennington and Kody Shane Shipley. Although her time here on earth was short, the impact she has made on everyone she encountered was beyond remarkable. Scarlett is survived by her parents, Checotah Dawn Pennington and Kody Shane Shipley of Broken Arrow, OK; her maternal grandparents, Lisa and Steve Pennington of Claremore, OK; her paternal grandmother, Sonja Portilloz of Sand Springs, OK; her paternal grandfather, Tim Shipley of Tulsa, OK; her godmother, Brandi Hoffman; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Scarlett was preceded in death by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A service celebrating Scarlett's life will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
