Sandra S. Dobbins

Sandra S. Dobbins, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the age of 68 at the Leisure Village Health Care Center in Tulsa, OK. She was born on January 31, 1955, in Haskell, OK. Sandra was the cherished daughter of FW and Elsie Geraldine (McGlothlin) Dobbins.

Sandra was a longtime resident of Coweta, OK, where she attended Coweta Public Schools. Sandra spent many years as a cook at the Green Parrot Cafe in Coweta and at the Coweta Manor Nursing Home.

Sandra was a woman of many interests, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also an avid shopper. Her family will remember her for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the love she had for her family.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Robyn Rankin and husband Jeremy of Coweta, OK; her brother, Frank Dobbins and wife Nema of Coweta, OK; her sister, Connie McDaniel and husband Robert of Coweta, OK. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren, Alexis Rankin, Autumn Rankin, Alyssa "Toosh" Rankin, Jacob Rankin, Jax Rankin, and Tynley Rankin. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren. Sandra's family extended beyond her immediate relatives, and she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, FW and Geraldine Dobbins, and her brother, Dale Dobbins.

Sandra's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation for Sandra will be held from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, OK with the family present from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK.
