Ruth I. Huckleby

Ruth was born in Hulbert, Oklahoma to James E. Davis and Jewel K. (Rutherford) Davis. The family later moved to the Coweta area where she attended elementary school. She graduated Jenks High School and soon after married her brother's best friend, Wade "Laddy" Huckleby. Ruth and Laddy were blessed with two girls, Ruth Ann Brooks of Coweta and Ronda Michell Stevens of Stigler. Ruth is survived by her daughters, two granddaughters (Leslie Peters and Natalie Bright), five greatgrands (Wade, Jacob, Emma, Cole and Aiden) and her brother Norman Davis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Steven's Family Ministries or to Coweta Church of God of Prophecy - Benevolence Fund. A memorial service celebrating Ruth's life will be at 7 PM on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta, OK. A reception will be held before the service from 6-7 PM.
