Rosemary (McCall) Woodward passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From her birth in Coweta, Oklahoma on June 12, 1945 until her recent passing, Rosemary nourished those around her with love and laughter. Rosemary was the youngest of four children of Ralph and Mary Ella (Newcomb) McCall. After graduating from Coweta High School in 1963, she received her associate's degree from Conners State College in Warner and her bachelor's degree in education from Northeastern State College in Tahlequah. She started her career teaching mathematics at Lewis & Clark Junior High School in Tulsa. She later became the 8th Grade math teacher at Coweta Middle School where she remained until her retirement in 1996. On June 3, 1975, Rosemary and Ron Woodward were married in Van Buren, Arkansas. She had two children, James Robert (Jamie) Warren and Tara Lynn Woodward. Rosemary is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ron Woodward of Coweta, her niece Lynn Rector and husband Rob of Broken Arrow, three grandchildren Reid Rector of Broken Arrow, Brandon Hilderbrand of Atlanta, GA and Devan (Warren) Peck and husband Derek of Las Vegas, NV, and two great-grandchildren Talayeh and Remington Peck, as well as numerous family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tara Woodward, her son Jamie Warren, her parents Ralph and Mary Ella McCall, her sister Callie (McCall) Franks and her two brothers Jack McCall and Bob McCall. Rosemary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, teacher, friend and most importantly a child of God. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rosemary's name to Clarehouse located at 7617 S. Mingo Road, Tulsa, OK 74133, www.clarehouse.org or Tara Woodward Memorial Youth Camp Scholarship Fund. Viewing will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Rosemary's life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta, OK with Pastor Larry Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Family and friends may share memories online at www.brownfamilycares.com.
