Ronald Wesley Hutson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 3, 1942 to John Davis and Anna Lee Hutson. His mother re-married and moved to Canute, OK. Glen Hutson and Anna Lee raised Ron on the farm. Ron graduated from Canute High School in 1960. He attended college for a short period of time then, joined the Army. He spent time overseas including Germany. Ron was a helicopter mechanic until he was honorably discharged due to loss of hearing in 1965. Ron married Sue Jensen Hutson in 1971. His only son Glen, was born less than a year later. He worked in the tire alignment business for years. He worked for Bear and opened Hutson Alignment in Canute, OK in 1972. Ron sold his business and spent the 70's and 80' as a sales rep in the oil and gas industry. He and his step-son built the family home after a house fire destroyed the Galloway home south of Canute. Ron was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed whittling. Ron also enjoyed the lake, fishing, country music, and studying his Bible. He was baptized in 1986 at the First Baptist Church in Canute. Ron was a well-known prankster, especially during the famous Dirty Santa Christmas gathering. Ron remarried Joan Riley Hutson in 1999. He and Joan loved traveling to South Padre. They camped frequently with cousin Melvin and Pete Hutson. Ron and Joan attended Abundant Rain Ministries in Coweta, OK. Ron is preceded in death by; brother Dwain Hutson, and brother Ray Davis, adopted father Glen Hutson and Anna Lee Hutson. He was also preceeded in death by biological father John Davis and brother-in-law Glen Smith. Ron is survived by wife Joan Riley Hutson, of the home, son Glen Wesley Hutson and wife Kimberly of Norman, OK, sisters Joyce Teal of Elk City, Kathy Smith Mouse and Mickey of Yukon and Carol Ann and Mike Janning of Canute. His step-children include David and wife Delora Lister, Allen and Marina Lister, Sonya Lister James and Steve, Kimmy and James Scarbrough, Andy and Kim Jones. He is survived by grandchildren Brooke, Bridgette and Chad Hutson of Norman and several step-grandchildren including, Kyle Lister, Veronika Walters, Kayla Lister, Dustin Hamner, Tristen Freeman, Hunter Jones, and Ralyn Scarbrough. Ron is also survived by his Aunt Joy, whom he adored, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial service for Ron will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK with Pastor Ron Spradlin officiating.
