Ronald Dean "Ronnie" Erwin

Ronald Dean Erwin, known to many as "Ronnie", resident of Sand Springs departed this life Saturday morning, November 16, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK at the age of 66. Ronnie was born January 12, 1953 in Tulsa, OK and was the son of Lester Roy Erwin and Jo Etta (Young) Guthrie. He graduated from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs. Ronnie worked at Sheffield Steel Corporation as a millwright and retired from Sheffield Steel Corporation as an electrician. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids that he was so proud of. Ronnie is survived by three children, Angela Erwin of Tulsa, OK, Matthew Erwin of Sand Springs, OK, and Joshua Erwin and wife Kendall; six grandchildren, Daisy, Braden, Kaytlin, Ashley, Bryce, and Allyson; two sisters, Gloria "Cookie" David and husband Rusty of Arlington, TX and Della Underwood and husband Clinton of Sand Springs, OK; his best friend, Brian Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Roy Erwin and Jo Etta Guthrie; one sister, Janet Sykes; and one brother, Marlin Wayne Erwin. Services celebrating Ronnie's life will be at 1:00p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
