Ronald Dennis Donohue, age 76, of Coweta departed this life on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He was born on July 6, 1933 in Cohoes, New York to Harry E. and Velma (Gadoua) Donohue. Ronald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather to his family. He received his education in the Cohoes school system. Ronald joined the United States Air Force on March 4, 1953 and honorably discharged on October 17, 1960. He and Wanda Hart were united in marriage on February 22, 1957 in Abilene, TX. They came to the Coweta area in 1969 from Tulsa, OK. Ronald worked as an aircraft mechanic for McDonald Douglas for 27 years until his retirement in 1990. He then owned and operated On The Run Convenient Store in Coweta, OK for ten years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and American Legion Post 227 in Coweta, OK. He enjoyed doing farm work, tinkering with things, visiting with his friends, being with his grandchildren, and sports. Ronald will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Ronald is lovingly survived by his wife of 53 years, Wanda of the home; his son, Ronald Edward Donohue and his wife, Jamie, of Coweta, OK; his daughter-in-law, Renea Donohue of Coweta, OK; his two grandchildren, Stephanie Walsh and her husband, Brad, and Jennifer Denise Donohue; his three great grandchildren, Addisynn Walsh, Beau Walsh, and Kielynn Walsh; and a host of other relatives and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and one son, David. Funeral services for Ronald will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev.
