Roger Allen Bulleigh was born November 4, 1946 in Greeley, Colorado, to Donald and Betty (Love) Bulleigh and died March 13, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was married December 2, 1969, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, to Juli Anne Braunlich. He was the beloved father of nine children: Connie Caple; Aaron (Jacqueline) Bulleigh; Phyllis (Sean)
McComb; Marla (Bradley) Hart; Joel (Kimberly) Bulleigh; Stephen (Alicia) Bulleigh; Adam (Jeannine) Bulleigh; Nathan (Jessica) Bulleigh; and Natalie (Soren) Michaelsen. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law Frank Braunlich, Jr.
He is survived by his wife and children, his mother-in-law Phyllis Braunlich, sisters Sharon Herries, Rita Worley and Janice (Thomas) Gilbert, sisters-in-law Beverly Braunlich and Anita Long, and brother-in-law Thomas Braunlich, as well as his grandchildren: Blake (Michelle) Maggia; Lacy James; Joshua (Megan) Caple; Hadley, Brigette and Brandon Bulleigh; Evan, Julianna and Brigham McComb; Sophie and Chloe Hart; Raegan, Tyler, Claire and Nolan Bulleigh; Thomas, Jillian, Elizabeth and Kathryn Bulleigh; Allen, Dahlia, Luke and Oliver Bulleigh; Pierce, Lauren and Lincoln Bulleigh; and Owen, Carter and Elise Michaelsen; his great-grandchildren: Adriana and Brantley Maggia, Logan and Skylynn James, Triston Jacomine, and Madison Caple; and twelve nieces and nephews.
Roger served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968, including two years of service in Vietnam. He was a retired electrician from the Ford Tulsa Glass Plant and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 25th at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1701 North Hickory Avenue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, followed by burial service with full military honors at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. The family requests donations to Disabled American Veterans or Paralyzed Veterans of America in lieu of flowers.
