Rodney Leroy Lowater, affectionately known as Ronnie, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, October 3, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He was born on September 27, 1963, in Phoenix, AZ. Ronnie's life was a testament to the love and joy he brought to those around him.
Ronnie was a proud graduate of Coweta High School, where he laid the foundation for his future. His professional life was dedicated to Union Public Schools, where he served with diligence and care as a maintenance engineer. Ronnie's commitment to his work was paralleled only by his dedication to his family and friends.
A man of many interests, Ronnie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fan of OU football, and his enthusiasm for the game was infectious. Movie nights were a treasured activity, as he loved to watch movies with his loved ones. Above all, Ronnie's greatest passion was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whose activities and achievements filled him with immense pride.
Ronnie was a beloved father, son, brother, and grandfather. He is survived by his daughters, Ambrea Lowater of Sapulpa, OK, and Kayla Brillhart of Claremore, OK; his mother and stepfather, Velma and Gary Nixon of Inola, OK; his four adoring grandchildren, Emily Morris, Joseph Morris, Logan Brillhart, and Lilly Brillhart; his brother, Dean Lowater of Coweta, OK; his sister, Pat Stunkard of Tulsa, OK; his brother, Terry Lowater of Kiefer, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

His laughter, his kindness, and his unwavering love for his family will be remembered always. As we say goodbye to Ronnie, we celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the countless ways he enriched our lives.
