Robert Miller

Robert "Foxxy" Miller, age 69, of Coweta passed from this life on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at his home. He was born on July 8, 1940 in Claremore, OK to Robert and Rachel (Reed) Miller. Robert received his education in the Coweta school system and graduated from Coweta High School in 1959. He enlisted in the United States Armed Forces on May 27, 1959 and was honorably discharged on April 30, 1965. Robert and Linda Dodson were united in marriage on July 28, 1964 in Little Rock, AR. He worked as an electrician for Sylvania Electric for 10 years. He also worked as an automobile upholsterer for 5 years. Robert was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. His hobbies included camping, bowling, and working on cars. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson. Robert is lovingly survived by his wife, Linda of the home; three sons, Robert Scott Miller of Coweta, OK, Robert Brown of Haskell, OK, and Braden Miller of the home; six daughters, Katherine Huston of Coweta, OK, Marcie Miller of Tulsa, OK, Tamra Brown of Coweta, OK, Tarrah Hand of Sand Springs, OK, Brooklyn Miller of the home, and Emily Miller of the home; two brothers, Lawrence Miller and Eugene Miller, both of Coweta, OK; five sisters, Dorothy Sawyer, Wilma Berryhill, and Eva Gay, all of Coweta, OK, Joyce Thomas of Broken Arrow, OK, and Weegie Clark of Coweta, OK; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev. Bert Robison officiating. There will be a Wake service on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
