Robert David "Bob" Kelley, age 94, lifelong Coweta resident went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 12, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, OK. Bob was born on November 7, 1923 to Colie E. and Anna (Pense) Kelley in Oneta, OK. He was a graduate of Coweta High School. Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in World War II. He married the love of his life, Altha Arletta (Clay) Kelley on December 29, 1950 in Coweta, OK and she preceded him in death on February 21, 2008. Bob worked at Braden Winch as an Assembly Lead Man for 40 years. He was also a farmer and enjoyed taking care of his cattle. Bob was a member of Shahan Free Will Baptist Church in Coweta, where he was a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Altha Arletta Kelley, his parents, Colie and Anna Kelley, 1 son, Bruce Wayne Kelley, 2 brothers, Carl "Bill" Kelley and Kenneth Kelley and 1 granddaughter, Jamie Smith. Bob is survived by 2 children, Lynne Smith and husband, Larry of Coweta, OK and Clay Kelley of Coweta, OK; 1 sister, Colleen Hopping and husband, Wes of Coweta, OK; 2 grandchildren, Robert Smith and Emily Kelley; 2 great grandchildren, Madison Smith and Marla Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Bob will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wagoner County Cattlemen's Association, P.O. Box 487, Coweta, OK 74429.
