Robert Edward Enright

Robert Edward "Bob" Enright, age 83, of Coweta passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, OK. Bob was born on May 20, 1930 in San Jose, CA and was the son of Thelma Lamn and Alfred Enright. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in the Korean War. Bob enlisted in the Air Force on February 23, 1950 and was honorably discharged on December 17, 1953. He and Claudine S. Stites were married on March 9, 1957 in Reno, NV. Bob worked as a Machine Operator at Fort Howard Paper Company until he retired in 1992. After retiring, he went to work at Wal-Mart as a Door Greeter for 13 years. He enjoyed watching football and TV and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Bob is survived by 1 brother, Gene Enright & wife, Isabelle, of San Jose, CA; 2 grandchildren, Brian Enright and Laci Enright and their mother, Lisa Enright, all of Morris, OK; 2 great grandchildren, Lexis and Kaylynn; and numerous nephews and other relatives. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and 1 son, Brian Enright. A graveside service with full military honors will be at 2:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2014 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK with Deacon Lamar Yarbrough officiating.
