Rick Lee

Rick L. Lee, age 45, of Wagoner departed this life on Thursday evening, December 25, 2008 at Wagoner Community Hospital in Wagoner. He was born on June 6, 1963 in Hereford, Texas to Louis and Darlene (Frost) Lee. Rick graduated from Herford High School in Hereford, Texas and then he attended Amarillo College for 2 years. He and Debbie Cornelius were united in marriage on June 5, 1982 in Hereford, Texas. Rick worked as a surgical first assistant at Mayes Medical Center. In 1997, he and Debbie moved from Tulsa to Wagoner. Rick was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wagoner and he was a member of the Elks Lodge in Wagoner. He enjoyed doing mechanic work, riding motorcycles, fishing, and he loved his family. Rick was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Debbie of the home; his son, Patrick Lee of the home; his daughter, Amber Morgan and her husband, Brian, of Coweta; his parents, Louis and Darlene Lee of Hereford, Texas; 2 sisters, Jeanette Hardy and Paula Lee, both of Hereford, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Wagoner with Rev. Mark Pointer officiating.
